Dancing Dad Gif
I created this cartoon character by creating the graphics in Adobe Illustrator and then putting in it all together in Adobe After Effects. I loved creating this character and making it come to life using my skills as an illustrator and animator.
This is my first creation using frame by frame animation and I hope to learn more about this process.
My Process
If you look at this image below from left to right, you can see the basic process I followed creating each design. I started with a simple shape or layout. After that, I started to add more details like the words or design elements. After that, I filled out the space and made the design more dynamic and interesting. Finally, I added color to match the hat I picked out for the patch.
